A lot of “About Me’s” pages share how they wanted to be a _________ since they were young. That’s not my story. I had no idea that I wanted to be a photographer until I became one. I didn’t dream of this career my entire life or write it in my elementary “career journal."

It started with a $400 Costco DSLR that I got for christmas my first year in college. I charged up the battery, walked outside looked through the viewfinder and fell in love. I drug my sisters and friends out for photoshoots every chance I got (and still do!) and just practiced, practiced, practiced. One day a co-worker offered $50 to shoot some engagement photos for her. I was sooo excited that someone saw my potential. From there it just blew up!

I fell in love with working with couples and small families, I learned about light and how to use it to make those dreamy pinterest-worthy photos everyone wants.

The thing I love most about my photography business is all of the amazing people I have met over the years. Most clients become friends and I love seeing them back year after year as their families grow.

My hubby is my biggest supporter and as we have started to finally grow our family together he is always there helping out behind the scenes so that I can give my clients the time and attention they deserve. :)
